About Me
I am a communications professional with a culinary degree and a passion for helping people cook and eat better.
I'm a professional chef, recipe developer, food writer, editor, cookbook author, product reviewer, mom of two, and lover of outdoor fitness. I have 10 years of marketing agency experience followed by 15 years of experience in culinary media. (And going way back, I have a BS is Advertising Management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, and an AAS in Culinary Arts from Newbury College.)
As an Associate Editor and Test Cook at America’s Test Kitchen, I developed recipes and wrote for 12 cookbooks. I also assisted on several seasons of the Emmy-nominated TV shows, America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country, as well as countless photo shoots for books and special issues.
As a freelancer, I wrote for WBGH Food (www.wgbh.org), consulted for Ninja countertop appliances (love my Ninja Creami!), and planned retreats on which I've taught cooking skills classes.
As Managing Editor of Kitchen & Appliances at Reviewed, I managed a team that tested and wrote about all manner of kitchen products, large appliances, and culinary consumer education. In my time at Reviewed, the sections I oversaw were consistently some of the most successful content on the site.
Get in touch for writing, editing, product testing or consulting, and/or recipe development and testing needs. The kitchen is always my favorite place to be!
