The Moccamaster uses a burst technique to bloom the coffee grounds before fully brewing. This combination mimics pour-over style coffee and produces a smoother cup compared to other drip coffee machines.

This coffee maker features a full/half carafe selector, which adjusts the brewing speed and hotplate temperature according to your choice. It also brews a full 32-ounce pot of coffee in about six minutes, which is significantly faster than going through the process of pour-over coffee, but much less work.
